For me, it's about persistent, local agentic systems running alongside Houdini, ComfyUI, and VS Code. I've got a crew of specialized agents managing everything from code generation to dataset prep, getting more done before my morning coffee than most people do all week.
AI didn't replace my creativity — it replaced the busywork between decisions. Every aesthetic call, every "does this actually look good or am I just tired" — still 100% me. I get to be an artist instead of a typist. And this portfolio? Built exactly this way. Zero manual keystrokes. The site is the proof. If that sounds like a flex... well. Maybe it is.
Handles research and Houdini — part executor, part supervisor. I don't drown in Chrome tabs; I deploy an agent that reads the docs and comes back with answers I can use. In Houdini, when I know what I want, I describe it in plain English and Pi builds — VEX, node networks, parameters, live in the scene file. No copy-paste, no manually wiring fifty nodes like some kind of digital assembly line.
When I'm figuring things out, the roles flip — it watches the process, catches issues, suggests better approaches. Either way, when I say "nah, make it grittier," it iterates. It's a two-way street, not a robot on autopilot.
I call her Emily — handles the admin that makes creatives want to quit: emails, invoices, deadlines, datasets. She also organizes the research Pi pulls together, cross-checks findings, keeps the knowledge base from turning into a digital junk drawer.

ComfyUI is my sketchbook: rough ideas, visual exploration, "what if" at machine speed. The new way: I talk, Pi reaches into Houdini through the MCP bridge — Model Context Protocol, for the curious — and shit gets built. Direct scene file access, no copy-paste, no manually wiring fifty nodes. I say something like "city block, buildings taller toward center, roads following terrain, Redshift render" — and Pi creates the nodes, writes the VEX, sets the parameters, debugs the errors, all live while I watch.

Visiting artists go through three stages: confusion, disbelief, then a very specific quiet where they're recalculating their entire career. The machine didn't replace the artist. The artist just got a direct line from brain to viewport, and the tedious middle part evaporated.

I've got custom workflows dialed in for different jobs — one tuned for mood boards and broad concept exploration, another for style references when a client says "I want something like this but not exactly this," another for generating texture sets and material references that feed straight into my 3D pipeline. Each workflow is purpose-built for a specific type of output, so I'm not starting from a blank node graph every time I need to explore an idea. It's like having different sketchbooks for different kinds of thinking.

Not everything I make lives in Houdini. Sometimes I need an actual application — a custom dashboard, a project tracker, a tool that automates some repetitive corner of my workflow. That's where VS Code or Antigravity comes in, with an agent riding shotgun.
The flow is the same as everything else: describe what I want, iterate, deploy. But the stack underneath is real — GitHub tracks every change, the agent pushes to the server, and when I need a backend, PocketBase or Supabase slots right in like another collaborator. Payment gateways, shipping logistics, product management, the whole thing. Agent-driven from architecture to deployment. Stuff that used to take weeks now takes hours.
Here I don't touch the code. I describe the feature, the agent writes it, I review the result, we iterate. "Dashboard should show X, Y, Z — keep the UI clean, nothing fancy." It builds. "Actually, group those by category and add a filter." It refactors. I'm not writing a single line — I'm the product owner with an infinite dev budget and zero patience for bad UX. It's like having a dev team on call, except they don't complain about scope creep, they work at 3 AM without charging overtime, and they don't leave passive-aggressive code review comments.
The agent handles the technical plumbing. I focus on the product and the customer. That's the split. And honestly? Once you've shipped a full commercial site this way, the old way — manually writing every line, configuring every gateway, debugging every integration — feels like choosing to walk when you own a car.
Not everything I touch is a client job — some of it is just me pointing 20,000 tokens of artificial enthusiasm at a problem until it builds me a new toy. The ASCII generator was one of those: feed it any image or video and it turns into a scrolling mosaic of characters — a dot-matrix printer having a vivid dream. It insists my renders look better as text, which I've decided to take personally. Then there's the Retro Boot Generator, which fakes the startup screens of seven vintage computers — BIOS, MS-DOS, Linux, even The Matrix — and exports the whole nostalgic panic as an MP4. Nothing says "cutting-edge 2026" like a fake 1986 computer having a small breakdown. The effects bench pulls its weight too: glitch, channel split, RGB shift, VHS decay, scanlines — roughing up footage without inviting a subscription to the party. Plus a pixel sorting system that melts images and video into long, smug streaks of colour — the digital equivalent of a particularly good haircut, if hair were pixels and the haircut were slightly illegal. It's the kind of collection you build once, use twice, then spend the rest of the week explaining to increasingly puzzled friends.
And because I never met a tangent I didn't like, there's a fully working VST synthesizer: MIDI-connected, happy to take orders from a Push 2, and accommodating enough to import my own sounds — which is a polite way of saying it has extremely low standards. Full disclosure: not all of these have clocked in yet — a few are still waiting for their first day of employment, and a couple are still waiting for a bit more love before they're properly finished. The point was never the finished thing; it's the tinkering. Build, tweak, tweak the tweaks, layering detail on detail until the tool no longer resembles whatever I asked for in the first place. They say don't polish the prototype; I say that's the whole fun. None of it replaces the actual work — it just means it gets done faster, and the machines don't ask for a credit. This is maybe one percent of the bits and bobs I've got lying around — and there's always another one fizzing away in the background.
