A series of short animations for a boot endorsed by Fermín López — the sort that comes with an Intelliknit second-skin upper, exo-mesh lockdown, and a carbon fibre outsole promising explosive speed and traction, which is a lot of jargon for "a very fast shoe." The job was to show off that tech, especially how versatile the outsole is. Three animations, two other artists, and a deadline that made the whole thing rather intense, to put it politely. My corner: asset prep, materials and textures. The scene I lived in most was the agility poles — speed and movement, everything whipping past — but I also prepped a few other scenes, set up lights, drove the cameras and animations, and comped it in Fusion.
